Locke Lord’s Boston Office Earns Metropolitan Tier 1 Ranking From U.S. News/Best Lawyers

Locke Lord's Boston Office earned Metropolitan Tier 1 recognition in the 2016 U.S. News/Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings released today. The recognition was based on the performance of eight key practice areas in the office, including Banking and Finance Law; Commercial Litigation; Corporate Compliance Law; Corporate Governance Law; Corporate Law; Education Law; Public Finance Law; and Tax Law.

The analysis by U.S. News/Best Lawyers includes evaluations from clients as well as peer reviews from lawyers recognized as leaders in their practice areas. Firms are required to have at least one lawyer in a Best Lawyers practice area listing to be eligible for inclusion in the U.S. News/Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” report.

Earlier this year, two Locke Lord lawyers from Boston – Walter St. Onge III in Public Finance Law and Jeffrey Swope in Education Law – were listed in the exclusive “Lawyer of the Year” category of “The Best Lawyers in America 2016” survey.
